Who is Garnold?

Garnold is the 8th character and the 3rd effect in the Incredibox mod, Incredibox - Sprunki.

Appearance

Garnold is a golden yellow Sprunki seen in a golden suit with a gold and black visor and has a black mouthpiece. He appears to not have eyebrows despite having them due to a design error. Underneath his suit, he has long hair.

Personality

Garnold has a hobby for building things, as he invented Fun Bot and Mr. Fun Computer with Clukr. He's calm, collected, shy, and always nervous. He's also considered a great helpmate and is always generous to those around him, offering advice on how to impress someone and encourage confidence. Despite this, Garnold is insecure of his own looks, which is why he built his suit to look less 'boring.' He doesn't interact much unless talked to first, due to having little bravery. Garnold is stated as selectively mute, so he communicates with his visor, using expressions, visuals, and body language. Sometimes, he also uses recorded voices that are cropped to combine what he wants to say in each sentence. He gets really talkative to those he trusts or who he's comfortable with, especially Clukr. Sometimes, Garnold gets carried away and when told by it, Garnold gets embarrassed and looks away.

Sound and role on stage

Garnold belongs to the effects group. Drag Garnold onto one of the seven slots and the loop starts in time with the rest of the mix. Effect characters add texture and accents rather than a lead line, which makes them easy to layer over almost any beat.

Horror version

Garnold has been springlocked in his suit due to moisture. The right side of his visor cracked to reveal his bloodshot eye. A set of realistic teeth can also now be seen from where his mouth is presumed to be (from the mouthpiece). There is blood coming out from the broken side of his visor. His neck/upper torso is bleeding due to the metal springlock crossbeams stabbed into his neck, leading to strain in his vocal cords (which is similar to Sky's horror form).

Trivia

• Garnold is described as the "cool" and "rich" character on the Sprunki TV show.
• The other characters see Garnold as the cool and nonchalant one in the cast because he wears the suit.
• It has been specified by Nyanko that Garnold is selectively mute.
• Garnold's name is most likely a portmanteau of the color name "Gold" and the male given name of "Arnold."
• It has been confirmed that Garnold invented both Fun Bot and Mr. Fun Computer with Clukr.
  • This is because Garnold's favorite hobby is building things, such as robots.
    • Other than building things, he would be good at playing videogames and arts & crafts.
• Garnold, along with Clukr, have a father-son relationship with Fun Bot. It has not been confirmed if this bond is also mutual with Mr. Fun Computer.
• Garnold and Clukr are not related, but they're good friends.
• Garnold would unfortunately be the slowest runner due how heavy his suit is.
• If you remove his visor in his vector, he has a normal face with eyes underneath, unlike Fun Bot.
  • This is easily confirmed because in his horror form, you can see his bloodshot eye through the visor that is cracked.
    • Additionally, his left eye, the eye that was blocked by the visor, is intact and unharmed, which is also the same from his normal form. This is because NyankoBfLol didn't want to waste time editing parts of the horror designs that you wouldn't be able to see normally.
• Garnold is Fun Bot's caretaker and keeps Fun Bot in his house because between him and Clukr, he's the one who'd know how Fun Bot functions, so it would be less of a hassle to resolve an issue with Fun Bot, the same knowledge applies to Clukr for Mr. Fun Computer.
