Who is Wenda?

Wenda is the 17th character and the 2nd vocal in the Incredibox mod, Incredibox - Sprunki.

Appearance

Wenda is a white cat Sprunki with a tuft of fur on both cheeks, and two long pointy ears on her head. She also has hollowed out pupils similar to Gray and eyelashes on both eyes like Pinki and Vineria.

Personality

Wenda is rude, arrogant, selfish, and distant from others. She was rather calm and sane at first, before her and Gray stopped being friends. Most of the time, she bullies, insults, and acts cruel towards the others, purely so they can hate her and not have any attachment to her.

Wenda was also known to be kind and loving before that.

In Horror Mode, Wenda becomes even worse. She has gone completely insane and turned into a deranged killer, wielding a sharp knife used to kill some of the other Sprunkis and possibly other weapons. Wenda's motive for her insanity and murdering is because she is under the influence of Black, though she doesn’t always obey him.

Sound and role on stage

Wenda belongs to the vocals group. Drag Wenda onto one of the seven slots and the loop starts in time with the rest of the mix. Vocal characters sing the lead line. They are the loudest layer in the mix, so one or two at a time usually sounds best.

Horror version

Wenda looks recognizably similar to her Normal version. The main notable differences are that she is heavily shaded with no outlines to match the Horror atmosphere. Her ears are slightly lowered and has streaks of blood on her left cheek and the right side of her torso. Wenda also has a psychotic grin and widened eyes, and her pupils are ovalish and gains thinner outlines; with the right eye being slightly bigger than the left one. In the Sprunki Cancelled Update, her psychotic grin has been replaced with a calm and civil, yet slightly crazed smile.

Trivia

• According to a YouTube post by Nyanko, Wenda would have been replaced in the remastered version of Sprunki. This was before he cancelled the remaster.
  • The most likely reason for this is due to her being the face of Sprunki content farms, and how much of it surrounds her more than the other characters.
  • Another reason, stated by Nyanko, is because he wanted to "punish" the people who were impatient and disrespectful of his decision of cancelling Sprunki, as they kept begging him to bring back the mod.
  • The removal of Wenda likely also would have drastically affected Fanon Wenda a lot, as she is a joke character directly inspired by her.
  • In sprunki remastered cancelled build, Wenda is called "My hatred for you is immeasurable. I wish I had never created you at all."
  • Her icon is in sprunki remastered cancelled build, but she can't actually be placed. Trying to place down Voice 2 would result in the game sending notifications.
    • Trying to place Wenda down at the start would make the game say, "Why is that your first thought?".
    • Trying to place her down after the fake out would result in these messages in order:
    • "We do not talk about her."
    • "We won't allow that."
    • "Is that really all you care about?"
    • "Get out."
    • "Go play something else."
    • Any subsequent placements will redirect to NyankoBfLol's itch.io page.
• In STC #1, Nyanko confirmed that Wenda and Gray are not related.
  • Although their relationship is somewhat vague, Wenda and Gray do not have a love interest in each other.
    • It was confirmed by Nyanko that Wenda and Gray don't interact much anyways, though they used to be friends.
    • NyankoBfLol also stated that he disliked the fanon relationship of Gray and Wenda and wouldn't ever make it canon.
• In STC #2, it is confirmed that Wenda was not the one that bit brud in the Horror version.
  • The one who bit brud was Simon, confirmed in STC #3.
• Wenda was the one who ripped Pinki's face off.
  • She might've used her bare claws to rip it off, as NyankoBfLol never said she used her knife.
• Wenda has been confirmed to have shot Tunner with his own gun.
  • She still has the gun with her. (citation needed, its cite 21/22)
• Despite Wenda being a killer in Horror Mode, she was a confirmed survivor along with Gray, brud, Fun Bot, Mr. Fun Computer, Pinki and Jevin.
• If you mute her for a long while and then unmute her, a glitch happens.
• Her normal sound is titled "boring hey sound" and her horror sound is titled "crazy" in the Scratch project.
  • There is also an unedited version of "crazy" (the audio that is used in Horror Mode) as well.
• Wenda's sounds in the Normal and Horror version are used for both the first and second loops; She doesn't have a second loop sound in either version.
• Wenda does purr, but it is very rare to catch her doing so, as said by Nyanko.
  • This makes Wenda the only animal Sprunki so far who has traits that reflect the species she is based off, being a cat.
