Who is Brud?

brud is the 7th character and the 2nd effect in the Incredibox mod, Incredibox - Sprunki.

Appearance

brud is a brown Sprunki with a steel silver bucket on the left side of his head. His eyes are derpy-looking, with his pupils positioned outward, are also very noticeably lazy. Under the bucket, he has a spike on top of his head.

Personality

brud is a dim-witted character who can only understand basic concepts such as colors, counting, and sympathy. He can talk, but not in full sentences. When brud is alone, he eats moss.

Sound and role on stage

Brud belongs to the effects group. Drag Brud onto one of the seven slots and the loop starts in time with the rest of the mix. Effect characters add texture and accents rather than a lead line, which makes them easy to layer over almost any beat.

Horror version

In this mode, brud is missing his bucket and spike from his head. He also has a chunk missing from the upper left side of his head (which was eaten off by Simon) as blood drips from it. A portion of the right side of his torso is also eaten by Simon, and you can see some of his ribcage exposing. Despite this, he still maintains a derpy expression, however due to only having one eye, he looks more like he is looking downwards instead.

Trivia

• brud is the only character with an entirely lowercase name.
  • This is the inverse of OWAKCX, whose name consists of only uppercase letters.
• His injury was caused by Simon eating part of his head and torso off, including his eye.
  • Although bitten, brud doesn't feel pain and is still alive. Even then, he is still alive because Simon's bite didn't touch his brain.
    • Though, it almost reached the center of his forehead, indicating that his brain is rather small/microscopic. This could be related to him being considerably the dumb one.
  • It's possible that Simon bit brud because he thought he was chocolate, since brud is the same color as chocolate. However, this isn’t confirmed.
  • Simon also tried to eat brud’s bucket but ended up choking on it for a while.
• brud and Simon were known to be friends prior to the events of Horror Mode.
• brud represents the "dumb character" stereotype.
• brud is one of the survivors, along with Gray, Wenda, Fun Bot, Jevin, Pinki, and Mr. Fun Computer.
  • However, brud was injured by Simon and is not completely unscathed.
  • Mr. Sun, Durple, and Simon are not considered survivors, as they are abnormal/infected.
• brud eats moss when he's alone.
  • Coincidentally, there is a character named Moss, who is made of it. But this is an exception due to a friend of Nyanko confirming that they would be close friends if they met each other.
• brud can talk, but not in full sentences.
• brud has a smug expression that became a meme, like Wenda.
• brud can understand simple concepts such as colors and sympathy.
• In the original horror concept, brud was supposed to have the left half of his face corroded by acid.
